EDEN is a new film inspired by the true story of human trafficking survivor Chong Kim. A young Korean-American girl, Hyun Jae (Jamie Chung), went to a bar in New Mexico where a handsome young man posing as a firefighter bought her drinks and offered her a ride home. She was abducted and forced into prostitution by domestic human traffickers. During her captivity, Hyun Jae, dubbed “Eden” by her captors, ensured her survival by gaining power and influence within the organization that imprisoned her. For such a horrific story, the film is beautifully shot. The sexual acts and most of the torture is alluded to and never actually shown. This allows for the audience to focus more on Eden and her struggle instead of being distracted by gruesome imagery. EDEN is a powerful film that will stay with you even after the the credits have rolled.

Matt plays Vaughan, number 2 in command, who Eden works with to climb up in the organization. He gives a chilling performance that leaves one wondering why not more people have recognized and utilize this amazing talent.
